BALIKADAMLAR SPORTS CLUB
Founded in 1954 Balıkadamlar Sports Club (BSK) is not only the first underwater sports club in Turkey but also one of the underwater clubs of the world.
 
Holding a fully equipped diving school in its organization, which has the equipment to enable 60 divers dive at a time, a tank filling system with a double compressor, oxygen sets, simulator models used in first aid and CPR trainings, the club trains hundreds of divers every year.

 BSK is a club working for the public welfare and organizes sportive dives. Besides it gives underwater rescue trainings to Turkish Naval Forces, Naval Police, Underwater Police soldier Teams and various Turkish Civil Defense Teams and supports the Underwater Technology Department in Istanbul University.

Apart from being an underwater sports club, BSK also gives courses in the branches of synchronized swimming, oar, windsurfing, underwater rugby and mono-fin swimming courses and trains world champions.

The foundation houses a restaurant, bar, classroom, tank filling units, a dock where the dive boats could harbor and a swimming pool. In our club theoretical classes are given two weekday nights, practice dive trainings are given at the weekends all by 50 volunteer teachers. 1 star diver's course lasts 3 weeks including the sea dives at the last weekend. Our club also gives CMAS 1 star, 2 star, 3 star diver course and 1 star and 2 star trainer courses.

To enable divers to be more experienced divers, daily or weekend dive tours are arranged by the trainers.
